Baby2Baby

Inspiration A nonprofit like Baby2Baby, which provides essential items to children living in poverty, the editorial layout needed to balance emotional storytelling with an approachable design. I began by researching Baby2Baby’s mission, reviewing past campaigns, and studying the visual language of nonprofits that successfully inspire action. Feedback from supporters and volunteers highlighted the importance of authenticity, compassion, and transparency. These insights guided me to create a visual narrative that felt hopeful. Design Using InDesign, I developed a clean flexible grid system that allowed photography and copy to coexist harmoniously. I selected a neutral color accented by Baby2Baby’s signature green to maintain brand recognition. Large, candid photos of children and volunteers were featured as full-bleed spreads to evoke empathy and connection. Generous white space and approachable typography gave the layout a welcoming tone. Development I refined the spreads into print-ready files, ensuring all margins, bleeds, and color profiles adhered to professional printing standards. For digital distribution, I optimized interactive features. Throughout development, I collaborated closely with the communications team to align the visuals with Baby2Baby’s tone of compassion and credibility.
